The Phoenix Program aims to return a minimum of ten times the engagement fee to our clients. The program has achieved the following results to date:
- Significant enhancement of mine planning tools and approach leading to the achievement of a 30% improvement spatial compliance to the 13-week plan at a site in PNG.
- Engaging with the workforce through focus groups has seen more than 15,000 employees complete the engagement process of improvement workshops delivering more than US$2 billion in bottom line results.
- Achieved more than 25 million manhours LTI free at a coal mine in Indonesia.
- Roll out of major technical training programs in leadership, frontline workforce development and development of the MOS for a gold mine in PNG.
- Achieved 40% truck and 20% shovel productivity improvements at a site in Indonesia.
- A first-in-kind drill and blast innovation yielding $10 million improvement in bottom line results for an open-pit coal mine in Indonesia.
- Realized an averaged 15% unit-cost reduction over a two-year period for a site in Indonesia.
- A 35% increase in productivity of Ex-Pit Tons (wet) on TMM t/Available Hr by 7th month of the project implementation for a mine in PNG.
- Achieved 50% truck and 30% shovel productivity improvements at a site in Indonesia.
- Drill and blast step change improvements including 10% reduced power factors for a coal mine in Indonesia.
- Process improvements that enabled 1.5 million drill meters per annum on 311 mm holes at a gold mine in Indonesia.
- Improved drill pen rates and utilization by 10% creating a 25% increase in consumable life.
- Nearly doubled key equipment production rates at a platinum mine in South Africa.
- Transitioned 1000+ employees from owner miner to contractor at an open pit copper and gold mine in Indonesia.
