Senior Consultant, Business Transformation and Turnaround
Role Summary
Silverwing Advisory Services is seeking Senior Consultants with substantial experience in business transformation, organisational restructuring, operational turnaround and performance improvement.
The role focuses on helping businesses address operational and financial challenges, restore performance and implement sustainable organisational change.
Consultants will work closely with executive management, boards and operational teams to assess business performance, establish improvement priorities and support the implementation of complex transformation programs.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive business diagnostics and performance assessments.
- Identify operational, organisational and financial improvement opportunities.
- Develop restructuring, turnaround and business transformation plans.
- Support the implementation of operational improvement and cost optimisation initiatives.
- Review organisational structures, management processes and performance accountability.
- Establish transformation governance, performance indicators and implementation milestones.
- Work directly with executive management and boards to align strategic priorities and operational execution.
- Facilitate organisational change, leadership development and capability building.
- Monitor transformation outcomes and support sustainable performance improvement.
Requirements
- Degree in Business Administration, Finance, Engineering, Economics or a related discipline.
- Typically 15+ years of professional experience, including significant leadership or consulting responsibilities.
- Demonstrated experience in business restructuring, operational transformation or turnaround management.
- Proven ability to deliver measurable improvements in profitability, productivity or organisational performance.
- Experience working directly with executive management, boards or business owners.
- Strong financial and operational analytical capabilities.
- Experience managing complex change programs involving multiple stakeholders.
- Excellent communication, facilitation and leadership skills.
- Experience in industrial, mining, energy, infrastructure or other capital-intensive sectors is advantageous.
